Editor’s note: All three Whitley County high school principals were asked to nominate three students who they deemed up and coming leaders.
Each student was asked a series of questions and will be highlighted during the next week. A boy and girl will be selected by The Post & Mail as the overall Leaders of Tomorrow.

CHURUBUSCO — Jay Petrie is a senior at Churubusco Junior-Senior High School.

Q: What activities are you involved in at school or within the community?
“I am the captain of the football team and I play baseball. I am also involved with Thespians International, 4-H and Spanish Club. I am also the president of the National Honors Society.”

Q: What groups or organizations have you volunteered with?
“I volunteer with my church, working at vacation Bible school and running the sound system.”
