Aldyth L. Cotner, 86

Aldyth L. Cotner, 86, of Woodburn, went to her heavenly home, Oct. 8, 2010 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, surrounded by her loving family. The Assumption, Ill. native was a daughter of the late David E. and Ola Cotner. She was a lifetime member and prayer warrior of Woodburn Missionary Church. She retired from General Electric in 1985 after 40 years of service. She was a member of the General Electric Pen-El, and Elex clubs.

She is survived by her sister, June M. James of Woodburn; sister-in-law, Imogene Cotner of Berne; nephews, Max Cotner of Fremont, Roy (Sherry) Cotner of Fort Wayne, David (Nadine) Cotner of Minn.; nieces, Joyce James of New Haven, Barbara (Kenneth) Knuth of Columbia City and a host of cousins, great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Hershel and Donald Cotner.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Rd., Woodburn with calling one hour prior. Pastor Joel DeSelm and Pastor Gerald Ringenberg officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Burial is in the Scipio Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Woodburn Missionary Church or to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
