Alecia Louise Stine, 24, of rural Columbia City died at 12:07 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1986 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Shannon and Tammy (Stine) Leazier. Her formative years were spent in Washington Township. She attended Columbia City High School and later completed her G.E.D. She then completed a Certified Nurses Assistant program.
In addition to her CNA, she worked for various fast-food franchises in the area.
She leaves behind a son, Damien Ray Smith and daughter, Aunna Marie Dean; her parents, Shannon and Tammy Leazier of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Ken and Marilyn Stine of Roanoke and Judy Patten of Columbia City; and great-grandmother, Bernadine Stine of Roanoke; a brother, Logan McKown of Columbia City; three sisters, Jade Wise, Lauren McKown and Lexy McKown, all of Columbia City; and several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Nolt Cemetery.
