Alma Snyder, 95

Alma A. Snyder, 95, of Winona Lake, died at 1:18 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at Kosciusko Community Hos-pital in Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 7, 1915 in Ash Hill, Mo. a daughter of James M. and Manda B. (Wells) Simpson. She completed her education in Fisk, Mo.
On Aug. 1, 1936 she was united in marriage to George W. Snyder. They made their home in Pontiac, Mich. before moving to Columbia City in 1945. In 1981 they returned to Missouri. Mr. Snyder died Aug. 5, 1984. In 1987 Alma moved to Warsaw.
A homemaker, she was employed at Fibre Form for several years and Whitley Products for a brief period.
Her memberships included Church of Christ in Warsaw.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Marilyn (Paul Sr.) Braddock of Warsaw, Patricia Sue (Jerry) Kaufman of Fort Wayne and Kathie L. (Kevin) Schram of Larwill; a son, Roger D. Snyder of Steelville Mo; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, James M. Simpson of Davison Mich.; and two sisters, Gladys McFarland of Lake Placid, Fla. and Dorothy Virginia Lezbenby of Warner Robbins, Ga.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Fred G. Snyder; four sisters, Mildred Brown, Glennie Funck, Effie M. Crawford and Irene Simpson; and three brothers, Earl, Walter and Charles Vernon Simpson.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery in Ash Hill, Mo.
