Anna Swihart, 94

Anna Margaret Swihart, 94, of Columbia City, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City.
Born on April 15, 1916 in Elgin, Ill. she was a daughter of Peter H. and Phoebe Helen (Farney) Bahr. She married Ralph Jacob Swihart.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Davis and Eleanore Bodenhamer; a son, Leroy Swihart; and brother, Dr. Robert Bahr.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Wesleyan Church, 971 N 400 W, Columbia City with calling one hour prior. Pastors Barry Faucett and Jason Tash will officiate with burial to follow at Jefferson Chapel (Sandbank) Cemetery.
