AQUATICS: Public forum set for Col. City pool

May 17, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — Citizens interested in the future of aquatics in Columbia City will have a chance to give their opinion next week.

Park Director Mark Green said there will be a public forum to discuss the future of aquatics, both in Columbia City and Whitley County, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at City Hall in the Columbia City Common Council Chamber on the second floor.

Much of this discussion sprang from last year’s announcement that Burnworth Memorial Pool will be holding its last season in the summer of 2014, before it is closed.
