Audra Hatch

Audra M. Hatch, a resident of Churubusco and wife of Walter L. Hatch, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at the family home.
She was born in Fort Wayne, a daughter of John Alva and Iva (McCullough) Powell.
On May 29, 1945, she was married in Columbia City to Walter L. Hatch.
Surviving relatives include her husband Walter; her son, Vaughn (Janet) Hatch of Springdale, Ark.; two sisters, Janet (Francis “Junior”) Bianski of Churubusco and Rita (Norman) Rowe of Avilla; a niece that she raised, Sharon (Michael) Geiger of Columbia City; and two grandchildren, Lisa Hatch of Rogers, Ark., and Michael Hatch of Arkansas
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Powell; and by four sisters, Alice Kirkpatrick, Marge Davidson, Nancy Darrol, and Eleanor Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Good News Baptist Church in Churubusco with Pastor Edward A. Thompson, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on today after 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.
Memorials may be directed to Indiana University Cancer Research.
