B.A.B.E. plans diaper drive for Day of Caring

September 17, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — The staff of the Whitley County Community Foundation will be conducting a diaper drive to benefit B.A.B.E. as their 2013 United Way Day of Caring Project.

This is the fifth year for the event.

For those who like to know their charitable donations go a long way, the community foundation will be matching all donations, package for package, up to $1,000.

All sizes of diapers are needed from infant through toddler.

Anyone interested in donating to the Diaper Drive may drop off packages of diapers at the Community Foundation now through Thursday.

The foundation is located at 400 N. Whitley St., next door to Columbia City High School. The foundation is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Questions about the Diaper Drive can be directed to the foundation by calling 244-5224.
