Barbara Wilt, 76

Barbara S. Wilt, 76, of Fort Wayne, died at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Life Care Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.
Born April 27, 1936, in Noble County, she was the daughter of Chester J. and Jennie (Smith) Boggs.
She graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the class of 1954. On July 3, 1963, she married Lanny K. Wilt in Fort Wayne, and they have always lived in Noble County.
For 31 years she worked for Dana Corporation, Churubusco, where she retired in 1994. She was a member of the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, Merriam.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Lanny K. Wilt of Wolf Lake; four children, Theresa (Lance) Liston and Rhonda (Ed Lazier) Geiger both of Wolf Lake, Gregory Scott (Sandy) Wilt of Livermore, Calif. and Lannette (Don) Dion of Churubusco; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her parents and brother, Mickey Boggs preceded her in death.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
Funeral service is Monday at 2 p.m. with one hour of calling prior to service at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, Ind. 33, Merriam, with Pastor George Cecil officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Lake Cemetery, Wolf Lake.
Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Wilt’s memory to Cornerstone Wesleyan Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
