Summer league registration
Registration for summer league play is open now. Parents can register their child for teams from T-ball through Babe Ruth from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays at the parks office located in Morsches Park. There are two Saturday registration days, Feb. 19, 9 to 11 a.m.; and Feb. 26, 2 to 4 p.m. at the park.
Cost for the instructional league is $20. Cost is $40 for T-ball and lob ball and $80 for minor, major and Babe Ruth leagues. Costs have increased to cover the expense of upgraded uniforms for both programs, and the addition of more games.
Scholarships are available. Parents just need to ask for a form at the parks office, fill it out and the boards will determine the amount of scholarship funding.

Team sponsorships
To sponsor a T-ball or lob ball team costs $150 and minor, major and Babe Ruth sponsorships are $250. The business’s name and logo will appear on the jersey and hat of the team. Local businesses looking to sponsor a team, or for more information, can call the parks office at 248-5180.

Umpires and coaches
Umpires and coaches are needed. The boards are looking for coaches and umpires who will be positive and teach the players. If interested in umpiring or coaching, call Melinda at the 248-5180. Coaches clinic and umpire training are both planned.
