Betty Lou Long, 82

Betty Lou (Beasley) Long, 82, of 1307 E. Market Street, Warsaw, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital’s emergency room.
She was born Feb. 8, 1929 in Whitley County to Ralph Dedrofth Beasley and Icy May (Loe) Beasley.
She was married on July 1, 1950 to Charles Long, Jr. “Longie” who preceded her in death April 18, 2006.
Betty was a homemaker and a resident of Kosciusko County since 1950.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karla (David) Riddell, Albuquerque, N.M.; three sons, Robert (Wendy) Long, Warsaw, Roger (Pamela) Long, Warsaw and Ron Long, Warsaw; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Madge (Carl) Salesman, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and eight brothers.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson.
There will be visitation an hour prior to the graveside service at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Memorial donations in Betty’s name can be made to the Post-Polio Health International, 4207 Lindell Blvd, #110, Saint Louis, MO 63108-2930.
