Beyond the books: Online tools expand services

November 19, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — Want to learn a foreign language? Looking for free music to download? Need to locate legal forms? All of these services are available from one website – The Peabody Public Library www.http://ppl.lib.in.us.

The library offers numerous resources online that are free to cardholders. Some of the online options are unique and innovative, according to Mary Hartman, the library’s director.

“So much of what we can offer is available on our website,” she said. “It’s easy to do from home. The website has a lot that cardholders might want to take advantage of. Some of it is informative and educational, but some of it is entertaining as well.”
