Block party serves kids supplies

August 6, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — Children are getting ready to go back to school, but for Whitley County kids, there was a chance for some summer fun before the school bell rings.

In addition to face painting, sno cones, cupcakes and games, children could receive free school supplies.

Whitley County’s Salvation Army has collected and distributed school supplies for seven years.
