BOMB FOUND IN COLUMBIA CITY: Fort Wayne bomb squad en route to Whitley County

COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City Police Department is urging Whitley County residents to avoid the area of Teghtmeyer Ace Hardware, 200 Diplomat Drive as police report locating a bomb at or near the store Tuesday afternoon.
At press time, members of a bomb squad from Fort Wayne are enroute to Columbia City to investigate as area businesses near the scene are being evacuated. More information will be provided here as it develops and a complete story will appear in the Wednesday edition of The Post & Mail
