'Busco falls to West Noble

LIGONIER — The Churubusco Lady Eagles Basketball team was defeated by West Noble Friday night, 57-20.
The Lady Chargers came out to an early lead, with an 11-2 edge at the end of the first quarter.
West Noble built on its lead in the second quarter, gaining a 25-7 advantage at halftime.
The Lady Chargers outscored Churubusco 17-5 in the third quarter to make the score 42-12.
The Lady Eagles scored the most points in the fourth quarter with eight. But West Noble added another 15 to end the game at 57-20.
Churubusco didn’t have any scorers in double-digits, with Heather Monk and Chayenne McRoberts scoring six points apiece for the game.
Chandler Blake picked up four points, followed by Savannah Labenz with three and Kristine Bechtold with one.
The Lady Eagles are back in action next Saturday when they host Prairie Heights.
