’Busco flies high over Culver’s Eagles

October 1, 2011

Zolman contributed a touchdown pass and caught an interception on the defensive end. Nicodemus rushed for 131 yards and one TD in 15 carries.

CHURUBUSCO — ’Busco Head Coach Lee Etzler described the playing predicament as difficult in the team’s 18-14 win over the Culver Academy.
“We had tough field conditions, tonight. The field gets a little sloppier and we’re spinning in the mud a little bit,” Etzler said.
The field was already water-soiled and muddy from a week of rain, and the weather conditions Friday night did nothing to help the matter.
