CHURUBUSCO — The Churubusco football statistics from Friday night’s game against West Noble were a bit misleading.
Heading into the fourth quarter, the Eagles had only 17 offensive plays and two first downs.
The team also happened to be leading the West Noble Chargers by a score of 55-6.
The Eagles won the game, 62-25, remaining unbeaten and in the process, keeping West Noble win-less.
Time of possession was simply not a factor for ‘Busco.
Churubusco began the game with a short kickoff, however the ball wasn’t properly handled by the Chargers and ‘Busco’s Braydon Shively was able to recover the football.
