’Busco JV tops Whitko

Churubusco’s junior varsity softball team beat county-rival Whitko in an exciting game Friday night.

The Lady Eagles took an 8-7 victory on their home field.
Whitko’s Tressa Keim hit a bases-clearing triple to give the Lady Wildcats the lead, but Churubusco wsan’t ready to give up yet.

The Lady Eagles battled back to earn the win. Whitko’s Avery Snavely pitched five innings for the Lady Wildcats, and Tori Silveus came in for the final two frames as Snavely’s relief.

Churubusco’s statistics were not available at presstime.
