'Busco OKs 1st sewer project payment

August 10, 2011

CHURUBUSCO — The Churubusco Town Council approved the first payment to Ironclad Excavating for the sewer line project. The amount of the payment is $94,622.61.
LeaAnn Herron, council member, asked Gerri Johnson, clerk/treasurer, what she found out from Keystone about setting up an account for “rounding up” the utility bill and donating extra cash from that to the parks department, like REMC does. Johnson replied that Keystone does not have the capability to set up an account; Churubusco utilities [her office] would have to manually set up and enter the donations.
