’Busco picks up win No. 4

September 8, 2012

BUTLER — More than just water rained on Eastside’s football field Friday night.

Churubusco reigned over the Northeast Corner Conference foes, winning 54-0, and remaining undefeated after four games.

In the last 96 minutes of play, the Eagles have not only had the lead against their opponents, but haven’t allowed a single point to make the scoreboard.

After a strong 42-0 win last week over Prairie Heights last week, Churubusco outdid itself against Eastside, scoring eight touchdowns, despite the rainy weather.

The Eagles host Angola next week.
