’Busco runs at NECC meet

LIGONIER – Churubu-sco’s boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed in the Northeast Corner Conference meet Saturday morning at West Noble, with the girls placing sixth and the boys taking seventh.
West Noble fared well on its home turf with six girls runners in the top 20, led by fourth place Anissa Richards with a time of 19:56, to give the team a second place finish. The Charger boys team won the boys race.
