’Busco’s Jones signs with Bluffton

CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco hoopster Chris Jones signed with Bluffton University Tuesday afternoon.

Jones led the Eagles (14-7, 8-2 NECC) with seven points per game, a 45.5 percent field goal percentage, and a 79.7 percent free throw percentage.

Churubusco was the Northeast Corner Conference Runner-up this season.

Jones ranked second in the NECC in steals and assists.

He made The Post & Mail’s second-team all-county list.

Jones earned Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s nod on the All-State Honorable Mention team.

He was ranked eighth in Class 2A in assists in 2011-12.

Jones was nominated to the Nancy Rehm “Border War” Indiana vs. Ohio All-Star game.
