’Busco takes fourth consecutive shutout

September 22, 2012

LIGONIER — Churubusco’s football game against West Noble came with no surprises, as the undefeated Eagles topped the winless Chargers 60-0 in Ligonier Friday.

’Busco jumped out to a 46-0 lead in the rainy first half and scored two more touchdowns in the second half.

The first play from scrimmage set the tone for the game, as the Eagles scored on a 65-yard play with a pass to Caleb Teusch, making the score 6-0 with 10 seconds off the clock.

Despite West Noble’s close attempts at putting points on the board — including a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter that was called back for a penalty —Churbusco’s defense held the Chargers scoreless.
