CANI expands to offer small business lending programs

COLUMBIA CITY — The Whitley County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) hosted representatives of Community Action of Northeast Indiana (CANI) at the EDC Outpost co-working facility Thursday.

The event was held to discuss CANI’s small business loan programs with EDC Outpost members and small business and Entrepreneurship Initiative (SBEI) clients.

The goal of the CANI small business loan program is to promote community development by serving entrepreneurs through financing and development services.

The loan program is for existing or aspiring business owners looking to expand or start a new business.
