SOUTH WHITLEY — After five games on the road, the Wildcats were finally able to share a win with their home crowd Friday night against Northfield.
Despite the team’s penalties, interceptions, fumbles and playing without senior stand-out receiver and linebacker Derek Snep, Whitko pulled out a 31-14 win over the Norsemen.
“The mistakes we made were a lack of execution,” Whitko Head Coach Wayne Swender said.
The Wildcats had three fumbles, six penalties and two interceptions.
