SOUTH WHITLEY— Whitko tennis’ 2011 season got off to a rough start Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats hosted Fort Wayne Northrop, losing 5-0.
“It was the first varsity match for a lot of these players,” Whitko Head Coach Kory Mettler said. “I expected us to be a little nervous.”
With a team led by sophomores, Mettler says getting experience is key.
