COLUMBIA CITY â€” In 10 years of Beth Scharpenbergâ€™s final calculus projects, a parody three of her students turned in this week were at the top of her list.
â€śThis is the best project Iâ€™ve ever had turned in,â€ť Scharpenberg.
Apparently, a national news source, the Huffington Post, agrees.
Miranda Johnson, Celine Rongos and Corinne Kauffman took their final assignment to the next level, making a music video from the song â€śThrift Shopâ€ť by Macklemore, and stuffing it full of calculus terms.
â€śWe had to figure out how to fit math terms into the song,â€ť said Kauffman â€” a task that wasnâ€™t effortless.
