March 21, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbia City High School’s two show choirs, City Heat and City Lights, along with backup band and tech crew, will travel to the Indiana State School Music Association's 10th Annual State Show Choir Championships Saturday.

More than one hundred show choirs participated in officially sanctioned Show Choir Invitational contests held across Indiana in January, February and March.

The 36 show choirs receiving the highest scores qualified to participate in this prestigious event.

Women's and Mixed show choirs will be competing in either a Large School or Small School class based on school enrollment.

Choirs from CCHS will compete in the Small School division, and will perform at the Plainfield High School Auditorium.
