CCHS hosts Honors Convo.

Columbia City High School hosted its annual Honors Convocation Monday night in the school’s auditorium.

The event honored students for academics, athletics and extracurriculars.
The night began with recognition of the school’s two valedictorians, Sarah Wise and Kiersten Thomas.

The girls each received scholarships for their achievements. The Class of 2014 Top 10 students were also announced: Wise, Thomas, Brooke Alexander, Devin Seabaugh, Michaela Wolf, Alexandra Vodde, Courtney Matteson, Hei Yiu Cheng, Nicole Karrer and Grant Armstrong.

Along with a slew of scholarships and awards for academics and clubs, such as 4-H, agriculture, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and more, several athletes were touted with awards.
