CELEBRATING SUCCESS: Teachers tout inaugural year at Eagle Tech

March 28, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — The “Celebrate Success!” program has been an ongoing project for Whitley County Consolidated Schools, giving each school the opportunity to showcase what programs and procedures are going on around the district. Last week, it was Eagle Tech Academy’s turn.

While Principal Brady Mullett gave a general overview of the school’s first year and its preparation for the second, the staff dove into more specific areas of what the school is up to.

Joe Urschel and Phil Stanczak, who teach the schools integrated American Studies class (a combination of English and history) reviewed some of the projects the students have done and the structure in which they completed them. Urschel made it clear first and foremost that that all of the projects align with state standards and that they are projects that have been around for years.
