Churubusco’s volleyball team held its awards ceremony recently. Left, varsity awards, from left: Brooke Herendeen, Highest Serving Percentage; Chandler Blake, Hustle Award; Morgan Young, captain, All-NECC, Eagle Leadership, Most Digs, Best Passer, Honorable Mention Academic All-State; Heather Monk, captain, All-NECC, Eagle Leadership, Most Kills, Most Blocks; Danielle Pippenger, Best All-around Player; Gabby Jones was recognized for tying the school record with nine ace serves in a match.
