Citing conflict of interest, man wants new attorney

COLUMBIA CITY — A suspect in the case of an exploding methamphetamine lab that killed a woman last December has rejected his public defender because of what he feels is a conflict of interest.
Joshua B. Angus, 25, asked for a new attorney in Whitley County Circuit Court Monday morning after his public defender told the court a witness in the case was a client of his.
