   COLUMBIA CITY — It’s not the ideal season Columbia City softball envisioned when the bats came out and the pitches were thrown in late March.
   Delays, postponements and sometimes weeks without games, the Lady Eagles finally saw some of what it hoped to see all season.
   Hits, strikeouts and runs.
   Monday, City entered the final game of the Northeast Hoosier Conference with an even 3-3 record.
