City graduates reflect, take next step in life

COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City alumni group grew by 292 Friday evening as the 2011 senior class of Eagles turned their tassels, received a diploma and walked out into world.
One of the larger classes to go through Columbia City, the class motto of “we are the ones” puts in words how faculty speaker Bob Fahl witnessed one of the school’s most successful classes.
“They are without a doubt the best overall class that’s graduated from Columbia City High School in the last 30 years,” Fahl said in his address to the crowd.
