City pays bill minus cost of damage to unit

COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City Board of Works and Safety approved a pay request to a contractor engaged in installing a pair of sewer lift stations — but only made a partial payment.
The three-man board voted unanimously to pay only a portion of the pay request by Gerig-Ottenweller Contracting, LLC because a rather large issue remains up in the air.
