Clarence âAlâ Hamman, 79, of Warsaw, passed away Oct. 07, 2011 at 3:54 a.m. in his residence.
He was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Kosciusko County to Clarence F. and Ruth (Garrison) Hamman.
On June 11, 1982, he married Deloris âJeanâ Geyer in Warsaw.
Clarence served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 1973, then he worked for United for 17 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw. He also was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Warsaw.
He was survived by his wife, Deloris âJeanâ Hamman, Warsaw; daughter, Martha Conley, Nappanee; stepson, Steven (Jeannie) Coy, Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Susan Niles and Sally (David) Gilbert, Columbia City; one sister Margaret (Rex) Yazel, Mentone; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and Toby, faithful, furry friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and five sisters.
Visitation hours will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 09, 2011 in Warsaw at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler of Warsaw. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with military honors by the American Legion Post #49, VFW Post #1126 and the U.S. Army National Guard.
The family requests memorial contributions are to be made out to the donorâs choice.
