Clint Robert Collier, 31, of Larwill, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
A lifetime Whitley County resident, he was born Aug. 19, 1980, in Columbia City, the son of Robert Lee Collier and Tonya (Smith) McKay.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Tonya (Smith) McKay of Syracuse; daughter, Sierra Nicole Collier of Syracuse; sister, Bobbi Jo Collier of Pierceton; grandparents, Roy (Mildred) Collier of Larwill and William (Nancy) Smith of Big Lake; aunts, Brenda Duty of Pierceton, Karen Brandel of Columbia City, Tammy Parkison of Crown Point, Deb Zickafoose of Big Lake, Vicky Tallent of Maryville, Tenn. and DeLaina Cole of Kendallville; uncles, Glen Collier and Doug Smith both of Columbia City and Dave Lotter of Churubusco; nieces, Kaylea and Kelsea Fletcher, Khloe and Xavien Hinojosa; fiancee, Amber Elston of Bluffton.
In addition to his father, Robert Lee Collier, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Deborah Ivy, and uncle, Timothy Wagner.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Clover Lick Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Don McKnight officiating.
The burial will follow at Halcomb Cemetery, Uivah, Ky.
Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Collier’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
