IRONIC?: Elwood man arrested 15 miles from ’Busco

October 26, 2012

KNAPP LAKE — An Elwood man was incarcerated after neighbors caught him breaking and entering a home, approximately 15 miles away from Churubusco.

In light of tonight’s sectional football game between ’Busco and Elwood, Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Ron Galaviz said there is no indication that the alleged crime is related to the game.

According to the Indiana State Police, neighbors saw what they believed to be a breaking an entering in progress — a call which resulted in the arrest of a 50-year-old man from Elwood.
