Col. City drops NHC contest to Norwell

September 19, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY —– There is an old adage in sports that says, “the best offense is a good defense.”

Columbia City’s Lady Eagle volleyball team found out that sometimes the best offense is a good offense Tuesday night.

The host Lady Eagles had trouble generating a consistent offense against visiting Northeast Hoosier Conference foe Norwell. The Lady Eagles took a close first game, but dropped the next three to fall to the Lady Knights by a 3-1 score.

The Lady Eagles return to action on Thursday when they face NHC foe New Haven.
