COLUMBIA CITY — The Lady Eagles hosted Whitko for its senior night Wednesday night at the Max Gandy Athletic Field.
Though the Lady Wildcats lost 2-0, Coach Gary Sims was more than pleased with the team’s performance.
“I am so proud of the girls tonight,” Sims said. “Columbia City is a big team and we competed well against them.”
The Lady Eagles have twice the roster size of Whitko, which is in its first season of IHSAA-sanctioned soccer.
