COL. CITY: Man pleads guilty to voyeurism

COLUMBIA CITY — A local man pleaded guilty to a charge of voyeurism Monday.
Brandon Davies, 25, of Columbia City, received 180 days in jail and 40 hours of community service.
Davies was caught looking in windows at Simonson Apartments three times within two days.
Simonson’s is located north of town, off Liberty Drive.
According to an Indiana State Police report, Davies was caught three times between 10 p.m. Sept. 14 and 10:28 p.m. Sept. 15, looking in the bedroom window of an apartment in the 400 block of Raleigh Court.
According to the case report, a manager from the apartments reported Davies peeping in the window at approximately 2 p.m. Sept. 14.
The Whitley County Prosecutor’s Office charged Davies with voyeurism, a class B misdemeanor, and sentenced him to 180 days in jail, 40 hours and $100 for community service, $100 in fines and $166 in court costs.
