FORT WAYNE — Columbia City’s girls track team did all as expected Tuesday night at Northrop’s regional meet.

Three Lady Eagles qualified for the state finals in June.

Samantha Roush is advancing in the mile run, Kalisha Goree hit the state-qualifiying leap in long jump, and Carlee Hearld is moving on again in the high jump.

Hearld and Roush placed 10th in the state meet last season.

Roush placed second at Tuesday’s regional with a time of 5:04.9 in the 1,600-meter run.

Roush also ran the 800-meter, with a non-state qualifying finish.
