Col. City wastewater to evaluate grease in lift stations

COLUMBIA CITY — After having some problems with grease buildup in some of the lift stations in Columbia City, the Wastewater Department is inspecting its lift stations for grease accumulation.

“If we get a grease buildup in them, they don’t operate properly,” Wastewater Superintendent Mike Cook.
