Robert Nobbe, above, of Connersville, takes a look at one of his many insulators that he will have for sale at the Columbia City Insulator, Bottle & Antique Show today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Whitley County 4-H Center. This brown giant insulator is from Montana. Robert, along with his wife, Darleen, have been coming to this show for at least 20 years. The couple has collected insulators for 45 years. Also at the show will be bottles, fruit jars, antiques, collectibles, telegraph, telephone, electrical items, lightning rods, railroad items, advertising, post cards, ephemera and primitives. More than 40 vendors will be set up to offer these items at this annual event.
