Columbia City department heads report to city council

COLUMBIA CITY — The Columbia City Common Council met Tuesday and a majority of the focus was on the reports from department heads.
Chief of Police Michael Petersen discussed an initiative to replace the police department’s current batch of handheld radios. The council is moving forward on the project, which is currently in its very early stages.
