COLUMBIA CITY — Columbia City Police Department’s Doug Eber will finish his last day on duty today as he prepares to travel overseas for a year-long stint with the U.S. Navy.
Eber, 47, a petty officer first class with the Navy, spent much of 2011 in England and within the last several weeks, was told he would be deployed this month.
