Columbia City trails pack at NHC, takes eighth

Columbia City 119 pounder Trey Hinen, left, suffered what five other Eagle wrestlers did at Saturday’s Northeast Hoosier Conference meet. While the hosting Carroll Chargers ended a 20-year team title streak by the Bellmont Braves, Columbia City finished in eight-place with six different Eagles tying for a team-best finish of sixth-place. Hinen fell in the fifth-place match against New Haven’s Justin Syndram, right.
