Community garden opens

Whole Health Wellness Center held its first planting day Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Whole Health Wellness Center is a new organization created by and for the people of Columbia City. The center’s mission is to establish community gardens and improve overall health. The garden officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The day’s activities included planting in both the community and children’s gardens as well as learning about composting.

The garden is located at 1065 West CR 150 N., Columbia City.
