Completely petable

October 26, 2011

Beth Wood, of Indiana Wild, visited Mary Raber Elementary School Friday with her “friends” including an opossum. Maeson Young, second grade student, wasn’t sure she wanted to pet the opossum but eventually did. Other animals shown were a North American alligator, chocolate-striped skunk, rabbit, a hissing cockroach and a fruit bat. The students have been studying about bats and the visit tied in well.
