PLANO, TEXAS — A man who was arrested with Duane DuCharme has confessed to conspiring to launder drug proceeds.
Jason Peebles was seen with DuCharme, a Whitley County businessman, in April. The pair was spotted by investigators outside a storage facility in Plano, Texas exchanging money. Peebles gave DuCharme $500,000 in cash.
DuCharme was picked up by investigators buying a shipping box at an office supply store later that day.
Investigators believe the money was going to be sent to Mexico. He owns a home in Whitley County, as well as Florida, and has connections to several businesses.
